Love And Light Party 2022

Updated: Nov 21, 2022

Amazing love and light party at The Chapel on 31st October! Thank you everyone who made it happen and all who came along to join in. It was so lovely to see to everyone, we hope you enjoyed the party! #LoveAndLight2022

Our activities this year included glow-up makeup, sunshine craft, decorating pumpkins (and other funky veggies!), uv glow prayer wall and courageous colouring, Snack on a string challenge, apple bobbing, s'mores and of course the trail of clues!

Thank you to Jono who lead our 5 minute "speaker and sparklers" at 5pm, a wonderfully thought provoking word about Jesus healing a blind man, believing the good news, and sharing the light. Did you see the giant heart lantern as you came in to the chapel garden? This was hand made by the Retallick family, isn't it beautiful?

A big heroes cheer for the team who supplied us all with drinks, cakes and hotdogs throughout the evening, this was no mean feat as the weather meant they had to abandon the table outside and look after us all indoors. Thank you ladies!

We were pleased to welcome Gaynor from the Co-op community team. Thank you for the cakes and for all your support. We are delighted to be on the list again this year for community funding - remember to tap your membership cards when you shop in the local co-op folks!

We also need to give a big shout out to DJ Martin who gave us a free disco to round off the party! Some fabulous groovy moves going on the dance floor.

We are praying for you all to enjoy the love and light of Jesus for the coming year, see you soon in our mid week groups, book a place on Debi's next Monthly Make workshop, or see you for the Chapel Christmas event on 26th Nov. We are also joining forces with St Mary's again for the annual St Nicholas Lantern Walk on 10th December. Mark your diaries!

The Chapel Project survives on regular giving, donations, grants and fundraising. Donations link for anyone who would like to chip in is here: https://givealittle.co/campaigns/0e5ae7c4-ccad-4f64-806f-0bdda20b8876

Thanks for your support let’s do it again in 2023! 💕🥳🔥🎶🙏😍😎💡🏮🍭🎈🎵🧁😇🙌
