We have been selected as a local cause for community funding by Co-op. Please give us your vote and remember to tap your membership card in store.

About our Food Projects:

The Chapel Project team is passionate about helping local people enjoy good food in sustainable ways. We're tackling food poverty, food waste, growing food and healthy cooking. Our community garden is taking shape too, with Baby & Toddler group "Chapel Kids" planting lots of edibles and growing plants for pollinators.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Planting a community food forest will teach children and families all about sustainable home-grown food, and enable them to grow more at home. By bringing people together to grow, prepare and enjoy good food at The Chapel, we are also tackling issues of isolation and loneliness. The mental health benefits of good food and outdoor activities are well known. Thank you for your support!
